Brazilian Motocross Team Announces Rider Line-Up For The 2026 FIM Motocross Of Nations

Enzo Lopes, Fábio Santos and Salvador Perez will represent Brazil in the Open, MXGP and MX2 classes at Ernée, France

The Brazilian Motorcycling Confederation (CBM) has officially announced the riders selected to represent Brazil at the 2026 FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN), the world's premier motocross team event, scheduled for October 2-4 in Ernée, France.

The final line-up was chosen based on the technical selection criteria announced during the launch of the national project in June. All three riders combine international experience with outstanding performances in the 2026 Brazilian Motocross Championship. Enzo Lopes currently leads the MX1 standings, Salvador Perez leads the MX2 championship, and Fábio Santos is the highest-ranked Brazilian rider behind Lopes in the premier class.

Fábio Santos (Yamaha Monster Energy Geração) will make his ninth Motocross of Nations appearance, extending his record as the Brazilian rider with the most MXoN starts. He will compete in the MXGP class.

Enzo Lopes (Honda Racing) returns for his fifth MXoN appearance and will represent Brazil in the Open class. One of the country's leading motocross athletes, Lopes brings extensive experience from the American racing scene and was instrumental in Brazil's historic performance at the 2025 Motocross of Nations.

The biggest newcomer is Salvador "Salvi" Perez, who will race in the MX2 category aboard a Yamaha Monster Energy Geração machine. The 18-year-old championship leader was not initially included in the preliminary squad due to the team's "maximum two riders per manufacturer" selection policy. However, following an injury to Bernardo Tiburcio, Perez earned the available position based on his technical ranking within the MX2 class.

Guilherme Bresolin (Factory Kawasaki Brasil) has been selected as the team's reserve rider. The 20-year-old is the 2023 Brazilian MX2 Champion and previously represented Brazil at the Motocross of Nations in 2023.

Under the team's motto, "The Emotion That Unites Us," the announcement marks another milestone in the ongoing professional development of the Brazilian National Motocross Team.

"Finalizing our rider line-up is an important milestone in this season's preparation. These are riders with international experience who are ready to face the challenges of the Motocross of Nations. We remain fully focused on preparing to represent Brazil at the highest possible level on the biggest stage in world motocross," said Brazilian Team Manager Wesley "Pakito" Magalhães.

### Fábio Santos | Yamaha | MXGP
The most experienced rider on the squad and Brazil's all-time record holder for Motocross of Nations appearances, Fábio Santos brings leadership, consistency and international experience to the team. His ninth selection comes after helping Brazil achieve its best-ever MXoN result in 2025, when the nation finished 12th overall.

### Enzo Lopes | Honda | Open
One of Brazil's most accomplished motocross riders, Enzo Lopes combines international experience with top-level competitiveness. After several successful seasons racing in the United States, he returns as one of Brazil's technical leaders. He was a key contributor to Brazil's record-setting 12th-place finish at the 2025 Motocross of Nations and will wear the national colors for the fifth time.

### Salvador Perez | Yamaha | MX2
At just 18 years old, Salvador Perez makes his Motocross of Nations debut. The current leader of the 2026 Brazilian MX2 Championship has already built valuable international experience through multiple European competitions. Born to a Brazilian mother from the state of Goiás, Perez proudly represents Brazil on the international stage.

### Guilherme Bresolin | Kawasaki | Reserve
The 20-year-old joins the team as reserve rider. Brazilian MX2 Champion in 2023, Bresolin currently competes in the MX1 class and already has Motocross of Nations experience after representing Brazil in 2023.
