Electric Power Vehicles included in 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship

The Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship will welcome the inclusion of Electric Power Vehicles (EPV) to the EnduroGP category for 2026.

Following thorough consideration by the FIM, Prime Stadium Events – promoters of the Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship – can confirm EPV motorcycles will be eligible to compete in the EnduroGP category for the first time.

For 2026, EPV motorcycles will compete alongside Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) machines in EnduroGP and its sub-categories: Enduro1, Enduro2 and Enduro3.

FIM EnduroGP World Championship for solo motorcycles are:

  • Enduro 1: Up to 250cc 2 stroke and 4 stroke + EPV*
  • Enduro 2: From 255cc to 450cc 4 stroke + EPV*
  • Enduro 3: Over 255cc 2 stroke and over 455cc 4 stroke + EPV*

* Electric Power Vehicles (EPV) are only accepted in EGP (E1, E2 and E3).

EPV will be identified by a white background with black numbers, and upper line with colour of the class.

EPV are not permitted in Women’s Enduro, Junior Women’s Enduro, Junior, Youth or Enduro Open categories.

For EPV, a battery swap is allowed at the designated refuelling and service points during an EnduroGP event. Mechanics are allowed to help the rider, provided they follow the FIM Electric Motorbikes Procedures. There will also be a dedicated Pit Lane for an EPV battery swap at each Special Test. While mechanics are permitted to help the rider change the battery, no additional time will be granted for the battery swap.
