Expotrade Women’s Enduro to sign off 2026 FIM EnduroGP at Forsiteservices GP of Wales

The Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship looks forward to an exciting 2026 season conclusion at this weekend’s Forsiteservices GP of Wales in Rhayader.

As the final round of the 2026 Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship takes place in Rhayader, Wales, 7-9 August, the remaining places on the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship podium are yet to be decided.

Last time out in Portugal, RIEJU Factory Team’s Rachel Gutish was crowned world champion, but behind her, it’s all but settled.

A four-rider, closely-fought battle for the silver and bronze medal positions is expected, while the Expotrade FIM Junior Women’s Enduro World Cup should go down to the wire too.

Arriving in Wales as the 2026 Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Champion, Gutish will enjoy a pressure-free weekend of racing. However, the American is a fierce competitor. She will be hungry to add further wins to her tally in Rhayader and complete her 2026 campaign in style.

Behind Gutish, the focus will be on who will join her on the final championship podium. With only 11 points separating second to fifth, it really is all to play for this weekend.

Lying second, RIJEU Factory Team’s Rosie Rowett holds a seven-point advantage over ET James Sherco UK’s Nieve Holmes in third.

Rowett will enter the final round in a confident mood having raced to a double victory in Rhayader last year. Harnessing those winning feelings from 12 months ago puts her as a rider to watch for as she races to secure her position of vice-champion in the final standings.

For Holmes, the pressure will be on. The opportunity of beating Rowett for second will need to be balanced with defending her current placing of third overall. She is only one point clear of Ambiance Moto’s Justine Martel in fourth, with Marine Lemoine (KTM) a further three points back in fifth.

Martel raced to a double victory at the season opener in Italy, and after some tough races, she would love to finish out her championship campaign on a high. Lemoine is also enjoying a strong run of form and will be pushing hard in Wales.

The Expotrade FIM Junior Women’s Enduro World Cup sees France’s Lorna Lafont (Husqvarna) arrive in Wales with a 19-point lead over her fellow countrywoman Charlene Boudon (Fantic) in second. With the chance to successfully defend her title a day early on Saturday, Lafont will be chasing victory on day one.

After her double victory at the GP of Portugal II, third-place Elizabeth Tett (TM MOTO) has closed the gap to Boudon to 15 points. If she is able to deliver another strong performance this weekend that could see her beat Boudon for second overall in the championship.
