FIM EWC: 46 teams have signed up

Entries for the new season of the FIM Endurance World Championship are now closed. This year, 46 teams have signed up to compete in the full season.

This represents a significant increase compared to the previous season, which saw 41 teams competing for the full year. The Championship’s development momentum is therefore clearly on the rise.

Beyond the number of entries, a review of the applications reveals particularly strong sporting programmes. The 2026 line-up is built around well-structured teams, ready to meet the logistical and sporting requirements of a whole season.

With six manufacturers involved (Honda, Aprilia, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, BMW) and numerous riders with prestigious track records and varied backgrounds, this 47th season of the FIM EWC promises to be exceptional.

Claude Michy (President, Endurance Moto Promoter): “Kicking off the 47th season of the FIM EWC with a record 46 permanent teams is fantastic news, both for the sport and for the fans. The Production class, which was introduced to the Championship in 2025, has been a key factor in this growth, whilst helping to bring back some of the fundamental values of endurance racing and ensuring more effective cost control. We are also delighted that six different manufacturers are entered as permanent teams. This underlines the appeal of the Championship, which is entering a new era with a clear objective: to modernise the image of endurance racing, boost its global visibility and support its development.”
