MotoGP™ Race Direction updates from the Permanent Bureau

The Permanent Bureau, comprising the FIM and MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group (MotoGP SEG), confirms the structure of Race Direction in the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship for 2026.

Graham Webber steps into the role of MotoGP Race Director this season, with Jack Gorst becoming deputy Race Director.

Mike Webb moves from his long-standing role as Race Director into a new post of Race Direction Coordinator. He remains on site at Grands Prix as part of this new-look team. 

The Race Directors for the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship are therefore:
• Race Director – Graham Webber
• Deputy Race Director – Jack Gorst
Webber, Gorst and Webb head up a team responsible for Race Direction at each of the 22 Grands Prix on the 2026 calendar, including all Grand Prix classes and other competitions on track at MotoGP events.
