He then became a member of the FIM Public Affairs Commission from 2003 to 2022.
Jean-Pierre also chaired the FIM Europe Public Affairs Commission from 2007 to 2018, making a significant contribution to promoting safer and more sustainable motorcycling in Europe.
Alongside his international involvement, Jean-Pierre Moreau dedicated over fifty years to the French Motorcycling Federation (FFM), where he held numerous key positions. His involvement began in the 1970s with the Circuits Commission, which he later chaired, before serving as Vice-President of the Federation on several occasions. He was also a member of the FFM Executive Committee for over thirty years. Recognised for his exceptional commitment, he was named Honorary Vice-President of the FFM in 2023.
