Updated Listing of FIM Homologated Motorcycles for 2026

The listing of FIM homologated motorcycles for 2026 has been updated on 26 March:

  • SUPERSPORT NEXT GENERATION:
    QJ MotorSRK 800 RS - FIM Homologation suspended for non-compliance with the FIM Homologation regulations for motorcycles.
  •  SPORTBIKE:
    Kove 450 RR homologation phase 2 pending*
    - Triumph Daytona 660 homologated

* Statement on KOVE 450RR

The FIM and DWO would like to provide the following clarification on the participation of the KOVE 450RR machines in the first round of the 2026 FIM Sportbike World Championship in Portimao.

As a result of a logistical and customs problem, it was impossible for KOVE to complete the FIM Homologation Phase-2 in time as initially planned. Although the FIM Phase 2 Homologation is in progress it is very unlikely that this motorcycle can be homologated prior the 2026 FIM Sportbike World Championship opening round in Portimao.

The SBK Commission has decided to grant a waiver to KOVE under the following suspensive conditions:

1.The FIM SBK Technical Director shall have full authority to balance the motorcycle’s performance at any time and to modify the engine mapping calibration as necessary in order to meet the World Sportbike performance target of 90 HP maximum.

2.If, at any point during an event, an overperformance of the motorcycle is observed or suspected, the manufacturer is required to make immediate adjustments as directed by the FIM SBK Technical Director. Should compliance not be achieved, the team will not be permitted to continue participating in the event.

In order to further guarantee the fairness for all competitors and manufacturers, no points can be scored by the manufacturer, riders, team concerned at an event until Phase 2 of the FIM homologation process is fully completed by the manufacturer.
